From Passion…..
Don Clayton first fell in love with computers in 1988. He had been transferred into a new position with a large company in downtown Calgary and sitting on his desk, still in the box, was his very first computer.
It was love at first site, and within six months, Don’s coworkers were coming to him for help with their computers, realizing he had a knack for “figuring these things out”.
To New Opportunities….
Fast forward 14 years. In 2002, Don began noticing a growing need for home office and small business office computer support in the Calgary area. He started taking on clients part-time, servicing them at night and on weekends to see if he could develop a full-fledged business.
It didn’t take long for others to realize his talent and soon Don was running his own business and in 2006, changed the company’s name to “Computer Rescue.”
To Purpose……
Today, customers consistently talk about Computer Rescue’s speedy response time and quality service. If the situation is critical, they pledge to have someone on site as soon as is humanly possible – in many cases, within an hour.
More importantly, Computer Rescue prides itself on being proactive with its customers, instead of waiting for the next disaster. They know that in today’s environment, down time for their customers means major headaches and in some cases disaster.
Their goal is to rescue their customers from any technology-related frustration by consulting in person or over the phone. Their mission is to allow small business owners to focus on growing and managing their businesses while Computer Rescue ensures their technology will support this.
Computer Rescue’s vision is to become Calgary’s leading computer service company in the small business arena by helping small business owners move smoothly and effortlessly into the future.
With over 20 years of computer experience in all versions of Windows, they’ve earned a Microsoft Certification in Small Business Server and are classified as a “Small Business Specialist”. Their extensive knowledge surrounding Microsoft Office products and computer networking benefits their customers in Calgary and up to 25 kilometers outside the city limits.
The Computer Rescue team is growing, but Don is still passionately involved in the day-to-day operations, and runs the company in line with his strong Christian values. Active in his local church, Don also loves hiking and biking with his wife.
